Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of Bincara’s academic publishing infrastructure, Open Journal Systems (OJS) configurations, article production, and managed technical hosting services.

1. Scope of Service

Bincara delivers technical infrastructure setup, hosting, DOI workflow configuration, and editorial production services. Editorial decisions, peer review rigor, and published academic content remain the sole responsibility of the journal’s Editorial Board and parent institution.

2. Commercial Terms & Deliverables

The ₦100,000 Journal Launch fee includes agreed deployment deliverables specified in the commercial proposal. Additional ongoing services such as article typesetting and managed hosting SLAs are invoiced per agreed schedule.

3. Data Ownership & Portability

All published content, manuscript back-files, subscriber databases, and editorial logs remain the exclusive intellectual property of the client institution. Full database dumps and archival exports are provided upon request.
